Construction is a sector with a long tradition and high demand. Due to economic development, the demand for residential construction is huge. With the current rate of urbanization, the need for people working in construction will be proportional to social development.
The major of Civil and Industrial Construction provides society with much-needed construction engineers, making a significant contribution to the construction of large-scale and highly esthetic works for everyday activities and for production.
Students who have completed a Higher Vocational diploma will need from 2,5 to 3,5 years to finish the program, while those who already have an Associate degree will only need 1,5 to 2,5 years. 
Working skills
The Civil and Industrial Construction  course teaches how to conduct experiments to analyze, evaluate and portray construction information and construction design and how to apply theory and practice to identify technical solutions to problems, according to economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, society, politics, health and safety standards.
Career prospects
Graduates will work in design and supervisory consultancy companies, construction management companies, government agencies, such the Department of Construction, the Department of Planning & Investment, finance and real estate companies, material suppliers and so on, or become self-employed.
